Ministry of internal affairs – Tiblisi *

The glazed and wavy building, floats in the middle of an artificial moat, and, like a modern castle, it is accessible via a slightly sloping “bridge”.
It houses offices and services for the staff, for both representative and an Auditorium, as well of VIP areas for the Minister.

The building has a simple geometrical plan at right angles, cast in concrete. It is then “wrapped up” by a curvilinear glazed facade, that, as a transparent blanket, covers the working spaces. This double structural system, allows the facade and the interior spaces to be independent, thus creating interesting views through the double height spaces.
